Flux Rostrum creates “People Powered Media for Real Free People.” On Cruxy, Flux has uploaded some original, authentic footage from New Orleans during Mardi Gras 2006, pointing out that “Much like the promises of FEMA, RED CROSS and the Politicians…. Mardi Gras, for some, was not exacatly like the postcard home.” Its definitely worth the price, and great way to support this type of documentary media.
These videos are also released under a Creative Commons license, so you are free to remix, re-edit, and remake them for non-commercial use.

While we wish everyone a joyful Fat Tuesday out there, make sure to remember the real residents down in New Orleans who are still struggling to put their lives back together.
